Business Intelligence (BI) - often BI vendors claim that getting the right information to the right people will solve their customers' problems. While some of it will help, the key to empowering people is to truly give them information they can act on and the tools they need to take action. In other words - information is good but there is no substitute for execution!

"the missing link between aspirations and results". By Bossidy, this book is a great read on 'how to get stuff done'. The book is centered around the discipline of execution - that's right, the discipline of getting stuff done! Check out the book here
